a calligraphy i did a while ago- it is on paper using a large calligraphy bamboo reed that i cut myself, and using blue ink mixed myself from colour powder with glue mixed in and with copper powder sprinkled on top.

the text- arabic- reads "Mohamed- may peace be upon Him"

Given 2005-10-03

I have a fondness for Japanese and Arabic calligraphy, and arabic calligraphy- "mohamed" by ~samirmalik is a good sample of the latter. Clean, minimalist use of form, rich color, and asymmetric balance. (Featured by `zeruch)
